Capri Overview
Capri® solid surface is a blend of acrylic and polyester that is poured into modular molds to produce standard depth countertops. Our patented modular process greatly reduces the time required to fabricate Capri® vanity tops, enabling us to offer real solid surface tops for less than similar products.
The Advantages of a Blend
Capri’s® main structural ingredients include polyester, acrylic, and resin. These ingredients give Capri® many of the desired benefits of acrylic solid surface such as renewable surfaces, inconspicuous seams, integral bowl sinks, and the ability to add decorative edge profiles. This blend also gives Capri® excellent heat and stain resistance.
The Modular Advantage
The Capri® product is poured into standard depth tops with the 1 ¼” edge poured solid into each piece. This solid poured construction eliminates one of the most time consuming and costly steps in fabricating a solid surface top. The standard depth is 22” to suit 21” deep vanity cabinets. This modular program enables Capri® 22” deep vanity tops to be manufactured to the customers required lengths, with no visible seams and the benefit of white integral sink bowls. In addition, several upgrade edge profiles can be applies to the vanity top before shipping it.
